Natural gas prices are down, which means it will cost less for households to keep warm this winter.
With the bad economy and record-high unemployment rate, however, people are struggling to pay their utility bills. There are a number of options out there for aid.
Ken Stammen, spokesman for Columbia Gas of Ohio, said because of the price decrease, the company has had fewer requests for help this year.
